Water underpins every aspect of human and environmental existence. The severe water challenges facing the world today require an unprecedented global response. IWA members and staff are situated in 130 countries worldwide, forming the largest international network of water professionals working towards a water wise world.

Internships at the IWA
The IWA’s internship programme provides young water professionals with a unique opportunity to gain international experience in the water sector. The IWA places a lot of emphasis on ensuring that internships deliver personal and professional development for individual interns. We hope that this better prepares people for future roles within the water sector, while at the same time provides interns with opportunities to network and build up relationships with potential employers.
The IWA intern programme offers a contribution towards the cost of living in the Netherlands.
