Travel and Arrival Information

Brisbane’s International and Domestic Airports are located approximately 15 – 20 minutes (20km) from the city centre and the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. An integrated transport ticketing system known as TransLink is available throughout the city by way of ferry, train and bus services. Brisbane’s Airtrain is a fast and most reliable way to travel via public transport from the Brisbane Airport to the city centre and return. Airtrain services run every 15 minutes during peak hours, and every 30 minutes outside of these hours; the express, air-conditioned journey takes only 20 minutes.

The airport stations are located directly outside the Domestic and International Terminals and connect with five Brisbane CBD stations covering the majority of downtown Brisbane.

Taxi ranks are conveniently located at both the International and Domestic Terminals. The Domestic Terminal rank is situated at the front of the airport, whilst the International Terminal rank can be found at the northern end of Arrivals on level 2.
