Water for Liveable and Resilient Cities

ICE WaRM Water for Liveable and Resilient Cities

Description

For the first time in history more than 50% of humans live in cities
From the UN’s Cities Data Booklet: In 2016, an estimated 54 per cent of the world’s population lived in urban settlements, rising to 60% by 2030. One in every three people will live in cities with at least half a million inhabitants. Small cities are numerous and many are growing rapidly. Sustainable urbanization is key to successful development.

This webinar will focus on the things we can do with water to make cities more liveable and resilient.
