IWA the Congress

The world is going through major transitions affecting the way in which we manage water, particularly in cities. IWA has a global outreach and in the IWA Congress we bring together experiences from different parts of the world and through discussion and discourse we are able to see what best practices can be implemented elsewhere. The IWA Congress covers the entire water cycle, with sessions that look at water resource issues in terms of the water cycle at the basin level. The challenges that cities face and how they fit within the broader catchment or river basin. How they interact with water for food production, industry and the environment. There are sessions that try to understand the interrelationships between the different water sectors. Join us in Tokyo: www.worldwatercongress.org
