IWA XV Latin American Workshop and Symposium on Anaerobic Digestion: Contributing to the energy transition and decarbonization

The main objective is to promote discussions on new scientific advances and challenges and technological processes related to the anaerobic treatment of solid and liquid waste, waste revaluation, energy transition and CO₂ capture₂energy recovery via methane or hydrogen, recovery of nutrients and fine chemicals, reuse of water and sludge, among other precious products, emphasizing their contribution to the circular economy, in addition to promoting the exchange of knowledge between academia, society, govern and the business sector.

The target audience for the event in question is expected to comprise undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers, professionals, managers, politicians, designers, development institutions, companies operating in the sanitation sector, industries, public and private companies, NGOs and international cooperation organizations interested and active in the area of anaerobic digestion, renewable energy, biomass, sewage treatment, solid waste, sludge, rational use of water, nutrients and energy, etc.
