Description

In a world facing unprecedented environmental challenges, the role of modelling has shifted from a purely descriptive tool to an essential driver of the ecological and technological transitions. Watermatex 2027 will explore the cutting edge of this evolution, focusing on model development and implementation, incorporating digital twins, AI, and hybrid modelling, alongside practical case studies that bridge the gap between theory and real-world impact in water reuse, resource recovery, and the water-energy nexus.

Our symposium is designed to be a collaborative hub for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share technical expertise and foster innovation. Whether discussing the nuances of new mechanistic models, CFD and smart sensors or the holistic complexities of Life Cycle Assessment and socio-economic systems, this event provides the ideal platform to shape the future of integrated water management.

We look forward to welcoming you to Le Lazaret for a week of rigorous scientific exchange and networking in the heart of the Mediterranean. We hope your time in Sète is both professionally stimulating and personally memorable.
