Notice of IWA Annual General Meeting 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the International Water Association will be held on Saturday, 3 October 2026, commencing at 13:00 British Summer Time (BST).
The meeting will take place at:
Crowne Plaza Glasgow
Congress Road
Glasgow, G3 8QT
United Kingdom
 

The meeting is being convened to transact important Association business, including:

• Election of IWA Vice Presidents for the 2026–2028 term;
• Appointment of Other Officeholders and members of the Board of Directors;
• Receipt of the Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2025; and
• Re-appointment of the Association’s auditors.
   

The Formal Notice of AGM has been issued in accordance with Article 31.1 of IWA’s Articles of Association.
 

Governing Members and Officers are entitled to appoint a proxy to exercise their right to attend, speak and vote at the meeting. Anyone who will not attend in person should complete and return the Proxy Voting Form or forward the meeting information to their official Governing Assembly representatives.
 

Each Governing Member may have a maximum of three representatives at the Governing Assembly. However, only one representative—the Voting Representative—may vote. Where more than one representative is attending, they should agree who will exercise the organisation’s vote.
 

Governing Members and their representatives are requested to register their attendance as soon as possible to support the necessary meeting and catering arrangements.
