Call for Nominations of IWA Fellows and Distinguished Fellows (2026) is now open!

The nomination period for the 2026 IWA Fellows and IWA Distinguished Fellows is now open. Submissions will be accepted until 19 April 2026. Please note that self-nominations are not allowed and all nominations must be made by IWA members only. 

IWA Fellows and Distinguished Fellows form a prestigious global community of water professionals recognised for their leadership, expertise, and lasting impact. These individuals are respected internationally for advancing water science, technology, and management, and for shaping the future of the water sector.  

Nominations for IWA Fellows: Do you know a committed IWA member, whether an engineer, educator, utility manager, regulator, researcher, scientist, communicator, or sector leader who has dedicated their career to solving global water challenges and have demonstrated outstanding leadership, sustained impact, and professional excellence in advancing the water sector?
